For players, 2026 has been a really abysmal yr for getting costly issues cheaply. The AI-induced element scarcity disaster has blighted the marketplace for RAM, storage and GPUs, which has had a knock-on impact to most different gaming-related gear. I assume the logic is: If individuals cannot purchase a stick of RAM cheaply, or a Nintendo Swap 2 cheaply, then they are not going to count on to pay much less for—for instance—a headset.
Which is why I browsed Amazon AU’s new Gaming Week 2026 sale with nice scepticism. I have not seen a gaming low cost price writing about since EOFY, and even that gross sales interval was fairly common in comparison with final yr, or the yr earlier than.
My scepticism wasn’t unfounded, however I did at the least discover one excellent deal: the finest gaming headset you should purchase, specifically the Razer BlackShark V3, is presently having fun with its steepest low cost but, dropping 32% from its AU$279.95 RRP to AU$190.30.

That is an distinctive set of wi-fi cans, and with such a hefty chunk wiped off its RRP, the worth is big right here. Dave James examined them final yr earlier than rewarding them a rating of 91 / 100 and prime placement in our greatest gaming headsets listing. He praised their crystalline constancy, light-but-rigorous chassis, low latency and affordability, whereas noting that the low-latency ends in decrease battery life than the competitors.
“It may take one thing extra than simply an inconvenience to trump the audio high quality on supply with the BlackShark V3,” he wrote. “When the totally different headsets arrived within the workplace, it was all the time going to be in regards to the top-end V3 Professional, for me. However the means of testing these totally different cans has proven simply what an important wi-fi gaming headset this center little one is.”
So sure: this discount on the BlackShark V3 is undoubtedly the perfect deal throughout Amazon AU’s Gaming Week. Nonetheless, when you’re into Logitech gear there is a bunch of that on sale. Go forth and browse.
